Semarang, September 2025 – Another proud achievement has been made by a student of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University (FEB Undip). At the National Student Sports Week (POMNAS) 2025, a Digital Business student successfully brought home three gold medals in the newly introduced sport of roller skating.
A Historic Debut for Roller Skating
POMNAS 2025 marked a milestone as roller skating was contested for the very first time. This presented both a challenge and an opportunity for young athletes across Indonesia, including those representing Undip. The FEB Digital Business student took this debut seriously, preparing diligently to ensure excellent performance.
Balancing academic responsibilities and training schedules required discipline and commitment. The hard work paid off, delivering an outstanding performance in the competition.
Triple Gold Achievement
At POMNAS 2025, the student proudly stood on the podium representing Diponegoro University with victories in:
- Gold Medal – 200 meters
- Gold Medal – 500 meters
- Gold Medal – Team Sprint 500 meters
This remarkable success proves that Undip students excel not only in academics but also in sports at the national level.
Motivation and Aspirations
Reflecting on the achievement, the student shared that the main motivation for competing was to honor Diponegoro University and the Faculty of Economics and Business. Additionally, the achievement serves as a stepping stone for future opportunities, including scholarship considerations.
